JERUSALEM (JWN)—An IDF court on Monday sentenced the second terrorist who murdered the Fogel family in the settlement of Itamar last year.

Amjad Awad was sentenced to five consecutive life sentences, after he was convicted of murdering five members of the Fogel family. Awad, 19, murdered the Fogels with his cousin, Hakim Awad, who was sentenced to five consecutive life sentences in October.

The Fogel family members were brutally stabbed to death in their home in Itamar on the night of March 11, 2011. The murderers killed Ehud and Ruth Fogel, along with three of their young children, Yoav, 11, Elad, four, and Hadas, three months old, before fleeing the scene.
