Gaza hackers attack Israeli firefighters’ website

JERUSALEM (JWN)—A group calling Itself the Gaza Hacker Team penetrated the website of the Israel Fire and Rescue Services on Friday morning, in its second recent hacking sortie against Israeli sites.

Last week the group accessed the personal site of Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon. In Friday’s attack the Gaza Hacker Team placed a picture of Ayalon with footprints superimposed on his face on the Fire and Rescue Services’ site.

The hackers left a threat to invade more Israeli websites and the message “death to Israel” in Hebrew.

After last week’s attack Ayalon said that penetrations of Israel’s cyberspace are a breach of sovereignty similar to terrorism and should be treated as such.
