Israeli forces launch over 200 airstrikes in Gaza, Lebanon in 24 hours

On Thursday, the IDF targeted a launch site and a suspected terrorist responsible for firing projectiles from Lebanon near the HaMifratz area in northern Israel.

This response came after projectiles were launched from Lebanon, prompting the Israeli Air Force to strike back, successfully neutralizing the assailant.

In the last 24 hours, IDF forces have engaged in several operations in southern Lebanon, aimed at dismantling Hezbollah’s infrastructure. These operations involved seizing weapons and eliminating terrorists associated with the group.

At the same time, the IDF has intensified its activities in the Gaza Strip. In Jabaliya, air and ground forces conducted targeted raids on military installations, resulting in the deaths of dozens of Hamas militants. Additional operations in central Gaza saw IDF forces neutralizing armed operatives, while in Rafah, troops targeted a military site that included an underground tunnel used for hostile activities.

Throughout Thursday, the Israeli Air Force carried out strikes on more than 200 sites connected to Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon. The focus of these strikes was on command centers, missile launch sites, and other vital infrastructure utilized by these terror organizations.

On Friday morning, approximately ten projectiles were detected crossing into Israeli territory from Lebanon. Some of these projectiles were intercepted, while others landed in open areas without causing significant damage.

The ongoing operations reflect the IDF’s commitment to addressing threats from both Hezbollah and Hamas, maintaining security along Israel’s northern and southern borders amid escalating tensions in the region. The situation remains dynamic, with the IDF prepared to respond to any further attacks.
