Horrifying report on Oct. 7 Hamas violence released

A comprehensive analysis of multiple testimonies concerning the October 7 massacre, particularly focusing on instances of sexual violence perpetrated by Hamas, has been disclosed.

The report, delivered by the Association of Rape Crisis Centers in Israel (ARCCI), scrutinizes both confidential and public testimonies, eyewitness reports, and interviews with victims, first responders, and witnesses. It has been distributed to key figures within the United Nations to eliminate any room for denial or disregard.

According to Orit Sulitzeanu, CEO of ARCCI, Hamas deliberately aimed to harm Israel strategically through the abduction of civilians and the commission of sadistic sexual offenses. The silence of those who choose to overlook or deny these crimes committed by Hamas will be etched as a historical blemish.

The report divulges that Hamas terrorists coerced victims, often women already injured, at gunpoint to subject them to violent rape, sometimes involving multiple perpetrators. To exacerbate the suffering, partners, family members, and friends were compelled to witness these heinous acts.

Most victims of Hamas’s sexual assaults were subsequently killed, with some even during the assault itself. Others were discovered deceased later, with their genitals mutilated or penetrated with weapons.

While the report acknowledges the difficulty in quantifying the full extent of Hamas’s sexual violence, which frequently resulted in the death of the victims, it sheds light on four primary locations where these assaults occurred: the Nova Festival, kibbutzim, IDF bases, and in captivity.

Eyewitnesses and first responders recounted severe sexual assaults, including group rapes, at the Nova Festival. On kibbutzim, both women and girls were subjected to brutal attacks, with at least one instance of a victim having a knife concealed in her genital organ.

Furthermore, soldiers stationed at IDF bases fell victim to sexual violence, evident from their bodies. Former hostages returning from Gaza have disclosed horrifying instances of sexual violence perpetrated against them.

The authors of the report, Dr. Carmit Klar-Chalamish and Noga Berger, urge action, emphasizing the imperative to speak out against these atrocities and ensure that the voices of the victims are not silenced or forgotten.
